Chassis & Box

We started with a brand new RAM 5500 dually chassis cab and then had a new 14ft Morgan Proscape Landscaping box mounted on the back. We had a true blank canvas- a totally empty box and standard cab. We considered other vehicles like cab overs, used trucks/boxes, and military auction trucks; however, price margins were so narrow between new and used at the time and supply was very limited. So ultimately, we decided spend a few extra bucks to get a brand new truck and box. The final product was built in just under two months. Total costs surmounts to approx $130K (compared to $1M EarthRoamers on a similar chassis). Loaded down, Macho weighs in around 18,000 lbs when all is said and done. For your convenience, we’ve linked to materials for ease of navigation where appropriate. Some are affiliate links, you may get a discount on certain items and for others, we may get a small percentage of sales in return at no added cost to you. Additionally, you can find most of Macho’s furnishings (and more!) on our Amazon storefront.
